This is totally the best pizza in town. I ordered 2 large pizzas and there weren't even crumbs left over. The boys in my house devoured every bite. My boys are extremely picky about their pizza and this is the one we call for every time. AND THEY DELIVER!!!!!! Does the happy momma tired after work dance: wiggle wiggle: They have great specials, the dinner for two comes to mind: 2 pasta entrees salad and bread for a real reasonable price. The pizza is totally reasonable too!

This is one of two pizza places we order pizza from in La Mesa. The crust is the right mixture of chewy and crispy. The sandwiches are good, but the pasta and pizza are fantastic. The sausage is real italian sausage, not those weird marble-shaped sausage nuggets you get from corporate cardboard pizza.

Take out & Delivery only.

Mmmmm...its so good.

YUM!!!!!!!!

After much discussion over what to have for dinner & desperation to not have to leave the house due to my lack of makeup & a bad hair day...I decided to do something I have never done before. Pick something from Yelp at random--and it worked!

I phoned up D'amato's and asked if they delivered to our area--I got a quick response from a very friendly guy and after asking a few questions about the menu & mentioning I had never ordered from them before--the guy offered to give me a coupon deal for a large pizza, garlic bread & anti pasta salad for $14.99. SCORE!
It arrived prompty--like maybe 35 minutes & it was soooo yummy! The pizza was seriously delish and the salad was HUGE--like enough to feed 5 people easily.
The delivery guy brought me a menu & some coupons and they have a cool menu...sandwhichs...pastas...calzones...and the prices were really reasonable.
Good food--delivery---nice people--cheap--enough said.

Stopped at this place last night for a pizza. I was on my way home so I called ahead and picked it up.

Pizza was ready when I got there; price was very fair. Great sauce well spiced/seasoned. Toppings were generous and flavorful. Crust was just about right. I requested light cheese and received light cheese. All in all a very good pizza. I would have given the place 4 stars but when
I found out that they deliver to my neighborhood I added one. Best delivery pizza in La Mesa Mount Helix by far

This is a little family run hole in the wall pizza place with excellent pizza, the BEST garlic bread(!), really good lasagna, spaghetti, etc, and reasonable prices. You can park right in front with no walk, combine it with a trip to Baskin Robbins next door, and they specialize in take-out. I don't know anything about their delivery since we live close and either dine in at one of the few tables they provide or pick up. They have coupons for deals every week in the Pennysaver.

I like Italian food, but I am really picky about pizza crust, amount of toppings an most important quality. We have ordered pizza and lasagna many times and I am always happy with what we get. They do make everything from scratch and you can taste it. They are generous with toppings on pizza and the crust is the best. Nice and soft w/out being gooey. The sausage is the absolute best here. The staff is always very friendly and they will give you the coupon price even if you don't have it. Just ask.

In my opinion the best pizza in San Diego county. The crust is just soft enough without being too doughy. The sauce is flavorful and they put just the right amount of cheese. It's also very reasonably priced. I've introduced a few friends who have been amazed. I highly recommend it!!
